About the Speaker

Dan LowryDan graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 and from Colorado Technical University in 2011 with a Master of Business Administration in Finance. He built houses for seven years after graduating from OU before deploying to Baghdad in 2007 as an Army Infantry Officer. After returning in 2008, Dan became a Tulsa Police Officer, but was laid off twice due to city budget cuts. Dan then began his career in facility management. He accepted a full-time role with the military at Camp Gruber Training Site in Braggs, OK as the FM. After serving more than 15 years in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, Dan resigned as a Major in June of 2017 as a military engineer for facilities and operations.

Dan is currently the Director of Facilities for Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, OK. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) through the Project Management Institute (PMI®), and maintains credentials as a Facility Management Professional (FMP) through the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Dan belongs to the City and Country Club Council of IFMA, his local IFMA chapter, and the local PMI chapter. He joined IFMA in 2014.
